The Athenia Veterans Post was a sponsor for the Clifton City Bowling Tournament
that was held at Berra Rizzuto Bowling Lanes in Clifton. With fierce competition,
AVP member Andy Polick won the Class A Runner Up award. Andy was a top bowler
in this area who could have turned pro if it wasn't for a work related injury to his arm.
Above left is Andy showing his top form while at his best, and to the right is Andy
showing his AVP trophy (left) and his "stein" trophy for bowling a perfect 300 game,
one of his many awards received as a bowler.
